The members of the Franklin/Grand Isle Bar Association are attorneys who either live or practice law in Franklin County or Grand Isle County in northern Vermont.
If you’re an attorney interested in joining, please send us an email with the subject line “membership.”
We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at Jeff’s Seafood for a lunch meeting. If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact our current President, Vanessa Kittell at email@example.com.
The Franklin/Grand Isle Counties Bar Association was formed in 1958 with the goal of bringing attorneys together to promote our profession in our communities and to provide attorneys with educational opportunities, professional networking and to make collaboration on legal issues as a voice for Northern Vermont possible.
Our association started with 9 attorneys and has grown today to over 50 members.
Over the years, our association has provided the community with a Peoples Law School, a free legal clinic, and every year now awards a graduating eighth grader from each school across both counties with a civic leadership award which promotes the ideals of our association.
